I love me some Studio Trigger, and SSSS.GRIDMAN - while I have no idea how good it's going to be - is making a damn good first impression. Some really interesting directorial and compositional decisions augment the usual top-notch Trigger action animation, giving the whole show a unique aesthetic and emotional feeling that I don't think I've seen in any other typical tokusatsu/mecha anime (although, granted, I don't watch a ton of them.)
