Canvas Prep : I took a 20x24" canvas out of the package, covered it in Liquitex Black Gesso and let it dry. When it came time to paint this scene i covered it liquid clear, wiped off with paper towel. then added a small amount of liquid white in the white section. Then i added Crimson and Dioxazine Purple to the canvas over the clear base so when we paint with the white, it will interact with the colors below. I show you everything else on screen
