In recent news, renowned playwright and drama director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has been embroiled in a controversy involving allegations of abduction, violence, and criminal activity. A group of nine individuals, including four women, has been arrested in connection with cases related to honey trapping and extortion. The accused allegedly lured influential and wealthy personalities into compromising situations during honey trips. The investigation is ongoing, and central suspect Hassan Shah, associated with organized crime, has been apprehended.
Interestingly, Amina Arroj, who had been in contact with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for several days, is also part of this case. She claimed that she hails from England and aspires to be a drama director. The police have recorded her statement, where she alleges that she communicated with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for 10 to 15 days, exchanged photos, and even visited his house.
