Nearby his fashion and homewares shop, Gentlewench, Wei found a renovated apartment home designed by architect William Smalley. The apartment was updated for a more airy, open floor plan for hosting and gathering.

The apartment beautifully balances historic Edwardian architecture with modern art, bold furnishings, and luxurious flair. Light-filled living spaces flow into a dramatic dark wood–paneled hallway with recessed lighting and smoked mirrors, creating a striking contrast. Throughout, touches of orange leather and gold brass accents tie the home together.

While Smalley’s architectural vision laid the foundation, Wei infused the flat with his own personal style—resulting in a home that is both elevated and entirely his own.
