The Malvern Hornets come into Marsh Field for a week 12 Regional Quarter-Final matchup vs the Monroeville Eagles. The Hornets defeated Ashtabula St. Johns 34-0 in their opening round of the high school playoffs in Division 7 Region 25. The Monroeville Eagles used the Bye week to get a little healthier and prepare to take on this Hornet team that has won 44 games in the last 4 years and has advanced to the OHSAA Playoffs for the 7th straight year.

Monroeville comes in riding an 8 game win streak and defeated St Paul in week 10 to clinch the outright Firelands Conference Title. The Eagles offense has been clicking behind a dynamic backfield that includes QB Colton Clark, and Running Backs Connor Bores and Cooper Cleary.
