Have you heard about the Cross NH adventure trail? Also known as the XNHAT? This trail cuts across the northern part of the state with amazing views of the White Mountains along the way. The trail actually starts in Bethel Maine and then makes its way into Gorham NH. Once in Gorham the trail starts with the Presidential Rail Trail and makes it's way to Whitefield NH. In Whitefield there is a little break with some road miles then the XNHAT picks up again in Littleton NH with the Ammonoosuc Recreational Rail Trail and brings you to Woodsville NH on the border of Vermont. Once you Cross into Vermont it is easy to jump of the Cross VT Rail Trail. For this adventure we only did the Presidential RT section but we have done the rest of it as part of another adventure we did last year "Bikepacking NH or VT why Choose?
