Implementing EIM on Your Campus

Your campus wants to make physical activity assessment and promotion a standard of care. You formed a leadership team, officially registered with Exercise is Medicine® on Campus (EIM-OC) and created a support network on campus. Now what? Join Carrie Davidson and Kristen Lagally, Ph.D. as they share what EIM implementation looks like on their respective campuses at the University of Kentucky and Illinois State University. Carrie will discuss challenges faced and lessons learned from an employee wellness perspective as UK started the implementation process, including adding physical activity as a vital sign in their electronic health record. Kristen will describe the implementation model at Illinois State and share the successes that helped the campus earn gold level recognition three years in a row.
