MEDJAY is a Heavy Metal band established in 2019 inspired by Ancient Egypt’s culture.
The Medjay were known as “Pharaoh’s Warriors”, an elite paramilitary police force, serving as desert scouts and protectors of areas of Pharaonic interest.
The song "DEATH IN THE HOUSE OF HORUS" takes place right after the Batle of Kadesh, when the Medjay is summoned by Hator, the Goddess of Love, to go to Horus' House where she tries to persuade him not to kill anymore. Enraged, the Medjay Kills Hator and burns the House of Horus... but the story doesn't end there! Stay tunned for more chapters of the Medjay Saga... Anubis is watching!
