Today we're going to be taking a look at the CargoBuckle ladder rack tie-down straps. These are designed for inch and a quarter square ladder rack tubing. The heavy-duty ratchet straps easily secure cargo to your ladder rack. They would mount on your ladder rack system in this configuration, so once you have your gear on your rack, bringing the unit open, it allows it to go into a free spool mode, so you can take this, you can wrap it around all your gear, and then you can anchor it back to itself in that large anchor hole in the bottom of the housing. Then you can tighten down the unit quickly. It's got this nice rubber coated handle, gives it an easy grip design with one hand.

It's going to feature a push button release and a self-retracting design that's going to allow for rapid loading and unloading. All of the unused strap retracts back into the housing, so that way you don't have any excess strap to tie off, or you don't have to worry about it flapping in the wind as you head down the road. Also requires minimal ratcheting, as well as convenient storage. Now, the unit's going to feature dual safety locks that ensure that the ratchet arm stays in the closed, or in the open position. Really nice durable construction that's going to offer long-lasting performance. We're looking at a corrosion-resistant steel body with seat belt quality polyester webbing, as well as very sturdy plastic housing and a stainless steel internal spring.

The unit has been crash tested to ensure that your cargo stays in place. Again, bolt on installation with your included hardware. It is designed for an inch and a quarter square ladder rack tubing system. Taking a look at some dimensions real quick, you're going to get a total length of 7 feet per unit, so it's 7 feet long, the strap is 2 inches wide. Your mounting hardware is 3/8 of an inch in diameter, and the length of your hardware, if we measure from the bottom of the bolt head to the end of the threaded portion, that's going to measure 2 inches. The brackets, these are going to give us a length measurement going this direction, 5 inches, and then each lip is going to measure an inch and a quarter long.

The anchor hole right here, the large anchor hole, that's going to give us a length measurement of an inch and a half, and a width measurement of 5/8 of an inch. The mount holes are going to be separated apart from one another on center by 3 7/8 of an inch. That's going to be the same for each 2 holes. Now, this unit's going to feature a maximum load strength or brake strength of 2,000 pounds, and each unit's going to feature a safe working load limit of 667 pounds. You're going to get 2 ladder rack straps and brackets, 2 sets of hardware or enough hardware for complete installation. Just please keep in mind that tie-down straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit.

The items being tied down must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. Last thing I want to mention is that it has a really nice, durable J-hook design, so you can see how that's like a double J-hook design. It creates a really nice, strong connection point for your gear. That's going to do it for today's look at the CargoBuckle ladder rack tie-down straps.
