Can you believe Ella Hooper said YES to writing with me?! 😍✨

Ella and I go way back (kind of!). Our paths first crossed years ago when she was a host for the Telstra Road to Discovery program, which I was lucky to be part of. But this was the very first time we spent some proper time together, and what a WONDERFUL day it was! 🌟

We kicked things off slowly, starting with a coffee and a good chat at her favorite local café ☕️🥐—talking about life, music, and everything in between.

When it was time to get to work, I shared a little idea I’d had on the way to the session. I always show up prepared with a bunch of ideas, but (of course) new ones always seem to strike at the most inconvenient times—like driving 🚗🎶 or in the shower! This little spark hit me while driving over the Bolte Bridge, so I managed to capture it in a quick voice memo. 🎤✨

The idea? An empowering, “you got this girl” anthem. 💪👑 From that little spark came “Work Like A Woman”—a song I’m SO excited about! Writing it with Ella, someone I’ve admired for so long, made it all the more special. 🌈💃
