Il Pirata - Caballe & Marti (Philadelphia, 8/3/1968) [LP Transfer]

Here is an interesting In-house recording of Bellini’s “Il Pirata” featuring Montserrat Caballe at her vocal peak, singing an impressive Imogene (my favorite Imogene after Callas) with her husband Bernabe Marti, a very good Gualtiero and a nice bel canto tenor! I have extracted the whole performance from LP MRF-36-S, recorded in stereo sound, without remove any clicks or noise, in order to be more to the original sound! This was the cast:
