How long does it take to get new growth on a heart leaf hoya cutting? Spoiler alert...it takes a long time.

I picked up this hoya kerrii variegata one year ago today and I thought I would have a little more to show. Come to find out, these plants take about as long as a ZZ plant. I also noticed that I have some leaf spots, which make me concerned I have a fungus or some hoya disease.
