I've used several different tripod heads in my time this is a quality product. The build is very nicely finished and feels durable. The pan/tilt features are both VERY smooth and easy to adjust or lock in place.

My only one minor complaint is the quick release. It works fine and holds the camera in place without worry, but I've used other quick releases that lock and release at the push of a button rather than a screw. It's not enough of a complaint to bring it to 4 stars though.
