[Explanation of the video]
This is a reenactment video of an incident caused by an excessive electric load added to a power strip beyond its power rating. When a plurality of high-wattage appliances is attached to a power strip, the user must calculate the total wattage of all attached appliances and make sure the calculated value doesn't exceed the power rating of the power strip. Further, use of an extension cord for a high-wattage appliance should be avoided as much as possible.
