I Completed a Japan Train Stamp Rally + My Travel Journal | Rainbowholic

Hi everyone! ⭐️ In this video, I will take you along with me to Tokyo, Saitama, & Kanagawa to collect train stamps! It took us 3 days in a span of 2 weeks to collect everything (we collected stamps during our free days). Watch until the end for a bonus Japan Travel journal with me video too!

⚠️ JR EAST Plarail Stamp Rally is only until May 28. You can claim the “prize” from selected NewDays convenience store by May 29. You have to buy at least 600 JPY worth of convenience store items / snacks to be able to get the Train Pass / ID holder prize.

⭐️ Stamp Locations ⭐️

📍JR Shinagawa Station
Plarail stamp: located outside Midori no Madoguchi (JR East Travel Service Center / Ticket Office)
Official JR stamp (with stamp paper) located inside the ticket office (right side)

📍JR Akabane Station
Plarail stamp: located inside Midori no Madoguchi (JR East Travel Service Center / Ticket Office)
Official JR stamp (with goshuin style stamp paper) + extra stamp: located inside the train staff’s office near ticketing gate

📍JR Omiya Station
Plarail stamp: Central Ticket Gate (North) next to the police box
Official JR stamp: Outside Midori no Madoguchi (ticket office)

📍JR Ueno Station
Plarail stamp: Outside Iriya Gate
Official JR Stamp: Outside Central Gate

📍JR Ikebukuro Station
Plarail stamp: Outside South Gate
Official JR Stamp & Extra stamp: also outside South Gate

📍JR Ochanomizu Station
Plarail stamp: Ochanomizubashi Exit
Official JR stamp: Ask the train staff near the gate (they keep the stamp with them)

📍JR Shinjuku Station
Plarail stamp: Right side after seeing the East Gate
Official JR stamp: Midori no Madoguchi (JR ticket office) within the same area

📍JR Meguro Station
Plarail stamp: Outside Central Gate
Official JR stamp: Ask the train staff near the gate (they keep the stamp with them)

📍JR Tokyo Station
Plarail stamp: Outside Marunouchi South Exit
Official JR stamp: Ask the train staff near the gate (they keep the stamp with them)

📍JR Yokohama Station (Kanagawa Prefecture)
Plarail stamp: In front of Central North Gate
Official JR stamp & Extra stamp: ticket gate within the area

Recommended Train Stamp collection notebook:
Passport Memo notebook from Muji (any Muji shop)
Tokyo Metro x Traveler’s Notebook Refill (not sure if you can buy this online but Traveler’s Factory Tokyo Station / Nakameguro branches still probably have this)
