Shadow the Hedgehog: Story Cycle 5: Part 2: Lethal Highway (Dark Mission)

Both Sonic and Shadow have gone through some highways, before. So how about another one?

The nature of this level's placement in the game's level progression system means that it only has two missions:

Hero Mission: Team up with Sonic to destroy a shielded flying tank. Let it escape, and you fail the mission.

Dark Mission: Team up with Doom's Eye to escape from the city after his army has already laid waste to it. This just means heading for the Goal Ring at the very end of this stage.

This time, I took on the Dark Mission, and basically went through the entire stage this time as a result.

If you ever wanted to hear Sonic say "Damn!", you definitely will for taking on this mission, letting the tank get too far through the stage will eventually have it escape, leading to a failure for the Hero Mission and making Sonic chase the tank down on his own.
