Philips Speechlive Author - Digital Dictation 4 Ways

Philips Speechlive, a cloud-hosted dictation and transcription solution hosted in Australia, provides flexibility for your workforce when it comes to dictating and transcribing.

In this video we look at the Dictation Author, the professional that creates the dictation audio and the four options that allow them to dictate from anywhere, at any time, on any computer, either using their favourite handheld digital Dictaphone or on their smartphone and even directly to their Windows PC or Mac via a web browser.

Option 1. Use any brand digital dictaphone or voice recorder (no vendor software required) and upload your audio to Philips Speechlive.

Option 2. Use the Philips Speechlive app for iPhone or Android to record and send dictation from anywhere. You can even attach images to you digital dictation for your typist to include in their transcription.

Option 3. Use a headset and mic to record dictation directly to Philips Speechlive on any Windows PC or Mac just via a browser.

Option 4. Still using your headset and mic try the real-time voice recognition software that Philips are trialling in beta to create your transcripts instantly, similar to Dragon from Nuance.
