To update apps automatically on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, it depends from where you install the app.

#1 For those apps that are installed from the Play Store
Open Play Store.
Tap your profile on the top right.
Select "Settings".
Tap "General".
Tap "Network preferences".
Tap "Auto update apps".
Here, you can select "Over any network" if you'd like to allow your phone to automatically update apps by using mobile data or Wi-Fi network connection. Or, select "Over Wi-Fi only" if you'd like to only allow your phone to automatically update apps by using Wi-Fi network connection only.
Tap "OK" button to save the changes.

#2 For those apps that are installed from Galaxy Store
Open Galaxy Store.
Tap three horizontal lines icon at the bottom right.
Tap settings icon at the top right.
Tap "Auto update apps".
Here, you can select "Using Wi-Fi only" if you'd like to only allow your phone to automatically update apps by using Wi-Fi network connection only. Or, you can select "Using Wi-Fi or mobile data" if you'd like to allow your phone to automatically update apps by using mobile data or Wi-Fi network connection.

By doing this, now, your phone will be allowed to automatically update apps that are installed from Play Store and Galaxy Store from the selected network preferences when the updates are available.
