1965 Mustang CPP Suspension Kit Review

Описание к видео 1965 Mustang CPP Suspension Kit Review

These are my impressions after installing the CPP Suspension kit on my 1965 Mustang. I knew I needed to completely rebuild by front suspension so I started with the steering and then moved to the suspension. I'm not a big fan of the stock suspension, it's based on the lowly Falcon and it leaves a lot to be desired. The strut rod is a cheap way to locate the lower control arm. When you look for alternatives to the strut rod there are Mustang II kits but they require a lot of work and welding. There is apparently a MacPherson strut style option but that didn't interest me either. That left the CPP with upper and lower tubular A-arms. It's based on their Nova kit, which makes sense as the Nova and Falcon share the same style of suspension. They have multiple tiers of kits, from the lower A-arms only all the way to this kit which included all four Viking double adjustable shocks.

This is not intended as a step by step installation but rather an overview and some impressions.
