15 Game Changing Products from the Super Bowl of Cigars: PCA 2024

This year at PCA, the top dogs brought some heavy hitters, including Mike Tyson's new cigar collab with Gurkha, Steve Saka's latest and greatest cigar, a few feisty new comers that are doing something new, and of course, cutting edge new accessories to go with your cigar enthusiast hobby. There were some disappointments too, and we pulled no punches. In this video you will find the latest and greatest cigars and accessories to include Padron, Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust, My Father's, S.T. Dupont, MonteCristo, Xikar, Lotus, Afidano, Family By Loyalty, El Chan, Stolen Throne, and Gurkha. ST Duponts Game of Thrones collection was the most exciting accessory. Al Chan's Puerto Rican tobacco was the tastiest treat. And Montecristo's Double Diamonte was the most expensive cigar at this year's Premium Cigar Association 2024!

I would like to correct a couple of inaccuracies in this video and share some sad news.

1. Gaby "El Chan" Cruz passed away shortly after we met him. This is incredibly sad news as he was so kind, optimistic, and made great cigars. I am no stranger to death, but this shocked me and saddened me as well. You can see his wife behind me in the video, my heart truly goes out to her.

2. Pete Johnson reached out and corrected me about vertically integrated companies. The most recent before Stolen Throne is the Garcia Family (My Father Cigars) who vertically integrated their cigar company 17 years ago in 2007. They would be the most recent before Stolen Throne.

3. El Chan is not the first hand rolled cigar from Puerto Rico. It may be the first that was mass marketed, but Puerto Rico has a long standing culture of growing and smoking tobacco.

4. I have talked with Lee to clear up my misconception. Stolen Throne Cigars is not 100% vertically integrated. They do own some farms, and contract others where they get first pick of the tobacco. They do process their own tobacco and Rojas rolls their cigars which Stolen Throne has a sweetheart deal with and does not plan on rolling themselves in the foreseeable future. They do make their own boxes Virginia. This is close to full vertical integration, but not 100%. My apologies for rushing this content out without verifying.
