Wood staircase renovation without electrical equipment, without dust - purely manually

The following tools were used - very robust and do what they should. On average, replacement blades were taken every 2-3 steps in order to make further rapid progress:
BAHCO power scraper Ergo 665 with handle, blade 65 mm
BAHCO paint scraper Ergo 626, blade 25 mm
Advantages:
No dust generation
No major cleanups
No electricity or expensive electrical tools required
Processing possible in many small steps, just as you can spare some time
Free gym ;-)
Disadvantage:
Due to the required muscle power, the working time is limited
I worked about 1 hour each time and restored the 14 stairs over a few weeks. One stair, including removal of old paint, sanding and painting, took about 2-3 hours. So nothing for the professional but very much for home use.
