I love watching the coffee blooming process. The way the beans swell and bubbles (it's actually the coffee beans degassing CO2) start rising to the surface always captivate me, I find it calming and satisfying at the same time, especially when brewing freshly roasted and grounded coffee beans.

This time I used my ceramic dripper from the Kalita Wave series, beautifully crafted using a blend of "Sagan (sandstone in Japanese)" and Hasamiyaki's signature Amakusa Touseki potter's stone. Looking so aesthetically pleasing and it's definitely one of my favourites for brewing a cup of flavourful coffee.

15g of beans.
250g of water.
