Electrical Aspects of Fire Investigations (16hrs) - "A Hands-On Approach to Investigating Electrically Caused Failures"

This two-day course covers the electrical aspects of NFPA 921 and 1033 as it pertains to fire investigations. This inter-active and hands-on approach will allow the student to examine electrical failures in a controlled environment and apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities to their fire scenes.

Day one consists of class room information that covers various electrical subjects including basic electricity and electrical failures. Day 2 focuses on outdoor hands-on live demonstrations where the student will actually be able to observe electrical events not normally seen in person.
