Team Bison Tactical Captain Scott DeCapio shooting a cattle gate stage in one of our team practice sessions. The MasterPiece Arms wedge lock bar system worked flawlessly!

This practice was on Jan 1, 2018 and (frickin) cold. We had practice in 9F weather. All our gear worked flawlessly, Feisol Tripod, MPA chassis, Bighorn Arms TL3 action, Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25 & 5-20 UltraShort scopes.

You can see how well the MPA wedge lock bar system worked as Scotty's rifle moved very little with each shot. He also very clearly keeps his bolt open when moving between positions, closing when back on target.

Notice how Scotty braces his hand against the wedge stop when moving the rifle between positions? This is to keep the wedge in place while moving the rifle, which avoids wasting time having to adjust them when they move around.

This is the typical way we use the tripod for rear support (Scotty is a left-handed shooter normal people are opposite). This works well on most barricades if your allowed to use a tripod for rear support, and is extremely stable.

You can also see Scott using the Traust Gamer bag under his knee to gain some extra height for the third rung of the cattle gate. That bag is phenomenal !
