Wells Fargo, where my dad works at, threw a big dinner event for their employees celebrating 25 years with the company which included an overnight stay at the Marriott Center City in our hometown of Charlotte NC so we got a "staycation" which was kind of neat. I ate in the room and did my schoolwork while mom and dad went to the dinner celebration for the evening. The hotel has undergone renovations since I filmed their elevators back in 2010. Very nice renovation from what I could tell. This was my first official stay at a Marriott hotel but I have stayed at various Courtyard by Marriott hotels before though.
Interesting notes that we didn't mention on the video:
the room has no carpet but the floor stayed nice temperature even first thing in the morning
The room is equipped with an Alexa device (another video demonstrating that will be forthcoming soon)
