Features I like about the 604W:
Improved AM, no more crackling/popping.
FM Reception is Above Average.
Runs on Three D Cell Batteries.
Excellent NOAA Weather Band Reception.
Power On LED Indicator.
Compact Size.
AC/DC Operation.
Tone Control.
Built in Handle.
Wonderful Dial that is Easy to Read, and Accurate.
Speaker Audio is Good.
Headphone Listening is pleasing.

Features that could be Added or Improved on:
Add a Tuning LED Indicator.
A Shortwave Band starting at 2.3MHz, and going to at least 21MHz.
Improve Daytime AM Reception.

Overall, for the money, this is a solid pick when compared to others in the same price range. The Dial is Refreshingly Easy to Read, this is something that is lacking on most Radios.
