Parasnath Hill Jharkhand | Parasnath Trekking | Parasnath Tour Guide | Parasnath Temple
-------------------------------------------------------------
If you ever dream of walking through clouds, touching the sky, and experiencing nature at its purest form – then Parasnath Hill (Sammed Shikhar) in Jharkhand is your perfect destination. Known as the highest peak of Jharkhand (1365m / 4478 ft), this hill is not just a paradise for nature lovers but also one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Jain devotees.
It is believed that 20 out of 24 Jain Tirthankaras attained Moksha here, including the 23rd Tirthankara Parshvanath Swami – after whom the hill is named. Parasnath Hill, also called Sammed Shikharji, is truly a blend of adventure, spirituality, and breathtaking landscapes.

🥾 Parasnath Hill Trekking Experience
We started our trek from Madhuban around 4 AM. With a walking stick (₹20) and a bottle of water, we began the uphill journey.
👉 Tip: Carry water and snacks from below because prices go much higher on the hilltop.
The trek is around 9–10 km of steep climbing through lush forests, mist, and clouds.
On our day, it was raining non-stop, making the trail slippery but even more magical.
The path divides into two: one towards the main Parasnath Jain Temple and the other through smaller temples before reaching the top.
Finally, after hours of trekking in heavy rain, we reached the temple – though the view from the top was completely covered by clouds, the stairs disappearing into the sky felt like a path to heaven.
