Let's check out my new favorite city together.

Living downtown in A/B cities for the past decade, I love to city. Every so often you find a city that makes you question how big of a city do you really need. El Paso is big-ish. UTEP is near. University Texas El Paso is nearer. It's on the border and probably lots of people going back and forth. It's on the edge of a B/C city in my book.

I got some work and watched some hockey at a place called Shifty's. No doubt, this place was exactly that. I was initially enticed because Limp Biscuit was blasting intro the street and I had to look and see who these people were. I saw beer and TV with sports so I decided the indulge. The next song was something or other by Taking Back Sunday. Followed by Ocean's Avenue. What the hell is going on. Did I just find the greatest bar in town. Shifty's is drinks only so bring your own food. What a great concept. 3 hammered individuals played electronic darts, shot gunning beers and crushing Subway sandwiches were enjoying their Thursday as I got some work down. What a fun town.
