Coronation Street's Kit faces suspicion as Nathan and Lauren twist is revisited
Police officer Kit Green was revealed to be the one who secretly planted evidence (a hair from Lauren Bolton) in Nathan Curtis' van, leading to Nathan's arrest for Lauren's murder.
While Lauren is now alive, Nathan remains in prison as the real attacker, Joel Deering, is still covering up his involvement.
Next week, the police will question Sarah Platt again about the case, as there are new developments. Sarah denies planting the hair, but is shaken by the interrogation.
Sarah urges her daughter Bethany's boyfriend Daniel to convince Bethany to stop her campaign against Nathan, in order to divert suspicion from herself.
Daniel confides in Daisy that he doesn't trust Kit and something doesn't seem right about Nathan's case, despite Nathan's criminal history.
This suggests Daniel may start investigating Kit's potential involvement in framing Nathan.
Actor Jacob Roberts, who plays Kit, has previously explained that Kit framed Nathan because he believes Nathan needs to be "locked up" and that Kit will do whatever it takes, even manipulative and underhanded tactics, to achieve his goals of advancing his career.
