1973 Mustang 302 2v Comprehensive Vacuum Systems Explanation And Testing

Описание к видео 1973 Mustang 302 2v Comprehensive Vacuum Systems Explanation And Testing

In this video I decided to try to wrap up what I had covered in a few prior videos, and put that information in one, comprehensive video. I also go a little deeper into some specific routing for this vehicle, a 1973 Mustang Convertible with a 302 2v engine, and automatic transmission. Although there will be some subtle differences between this Mustang and other First Generation Mustangs, the information related to this vehicle is general enough to be useful for other year Ford engines from the 60s and 70s.

One area I touch on that is somewhat relates to the Fuel Evaporative Control System. I only touched on it lightly in this video. But, I have more information in another YouTube at the following link:

20:58 - I begin to speak about the various Ported Vacuum systems and how to test them. This eventually includes the distributor vacuum advance system, to include how to test the vacuum advance diaphragm and how to test for ported vacuum being sent to the vacuum advance diaphragm.
