Hi there, I am Arya Kaushal, an IT professional but a pure traveller by soul❤️
In this video, I described my journey from nagpur to Meghalaya. We opted for flight option but the catch was there was a 7 hour layover at Delhi .
We reached Guwahati airport by 9am and headed straight to bike rentals shop. We had booked Himalayan bike a month in advance and the charges were Rs.1000 per day.
We packed our stuff on the bike and started a 100kms journey from Guwahati to Shillong. W ehad booked our romm at Main market area of Shllong for Rs.1500 as the next day we were off to a 50kms drive to Mawphanlur.
Mawphanlur is a quaint village which is becoming known for its beautiful natural lake.
We stayed at Traveller's nest for Rs.2500 no meals included. They stay is just besides the lake and so its worth the money.
Places to visit near Mawphanlur is Weinia waterfalls and Nongkhnum Island, 4kms away from Mawphanlur. The roads are good and there is entry fee for the island.
