Nespreso Vertuo Pop Forced Descale Procedure

This will take 20 minutes to complete.

To force a descale program, switch on the unit.

Lift the lid to the open position and press and hold the top button for at least 7 seconds

When the button flashes orange, close the lid and lock the unit then unlock the unit.

Press the button for 7 seconds again.

Finally lock the unit then ensure you have descaling solution in the water tank and finally press the button to start the procedure.

Ensure you have a jug to collect the solution.

Allow the procedure to empty the tank. When the program empties the tank fill the tank with fresh water and press the button again to complete the fresh water flush.

When the machine flushes all the water it will flash the button white for a few seconds to indicate that the procedure is complete.

Allow the unit to cool down for 10 minutes before completing a another program.
