A choir of hope: Armando Molina at TEDxYouth@Madrid

Описание к видео A choir of hope: Armando Molina at TEDxYouth@Madrid

Armando faced some difficult times when he was a kid, and had to suffer the harshness of his classmates. Then he started to sing in a choir, and he felt liberated and happy. When, as a volunteer, he came in contact with Alzheimer, and discovered that auditory memory is the last to be lost in a person with that desease, he had an idea: a choir for the elderly! In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
