Ep 19: Why is there a knife in our bed?!?

The weather here in Marina del Rey has not been cooperating, but as soon as we hit a good weather window, it was time to bounce up on deck! First up, changing our halyards! We found an awesome yacht surplus shop in Costa Mesa called Minneys! We found a great deal on rope and thank goodness, it was definitely time to retire the ol Halyards! Follow along as Connor changes the halyards out!

Next up, the final pieces come together in our beautiful sleeping oasis in the aft cabin. Why is Connor laughing when I find a knife in the bed? Shesshhh!

Then Jib Sheets on deck? Welp what do you know, too much wind. We will get them changed out next time! So instead do we go sailing!? Seemed like a good idea, until we realized our manual water pump kept leaking, and the leak really started to crank up. So back to plumbing with Connor. How excited is he about this? Not very! But we hope this in depth exploration under the sink, helps you with any leaking issues you may have on your boat!

Last but not least, when it seems like everything is going wrong, try to seek out at least one win. The silver lining today was how perfectly the fit was for the Milwaukee Packout in our "garage." It may be a small victory, but we will take what we can get!
