Schachmatt - Königspitze/Gran Zebrù

Martin and his brother Florian, better known in the climbing scene as the "Rieglerbrothers", report about their first ascent of "Schachmatt" at the Königsspitze (King's Peak) in the Italian Ortler group in January 2010. It's the first winter ascent ever made of the Königsspitze by climbers. It's a short film about problems connected to climbing passion, about the sense of life and the relationship between two brothers. Winner of the Audience Award at the 16th Mountain Film Festival in St. Anton/Arlberg 2010. A film by Eduardo Gellner.
