Wing Chun Wooden Dummy Part 5

The "gaun sao section" is the fifth part of the Ip Man Mook Jong form and is full of useful skills for self defense. The forms of Wing Chun (including the wooden dummy) are often misunderstood by those who view fighting through the lens of combat sports such as mma, kickboxing, and boxing. The Wing Chun system does a magnificent job of giving the practitioner structures and mechanics that can be used for a broad range of applications. Sifu Jason Korol of Greenville Academy of Martial Arts will point out those mechanics and give you an idea about how they might be used for self defense.
