This Failed Propeller Powered TRAIN Was Actually Ahead Of Its Time... SO I BUILT ONE!

Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic! Today I am recreating the propeller-powered train known as the Bennie Railplane. It was a train that had a lot of plane-like design elements to enable to go faster, and traverse a wider variety of terrain elements. Despite having a relatively successful test version, it was unable to get funding to make it into the mainstream. Yet, with the exception of the propellors, a lot of modern trains don't seem that different than this one.
