You're always able to approach the court and object to someone being appointed. Just because a petition for guardianship is filed does not mean that a person automatically is gonna become the guardian. There can be competing petitions for guardianship. Everybody has the right to have a guardian of their choosing so that basically, this is a process that's ongoing and it can't be objected to, the guardian that is going to be appointed or may have been appointed can be replaced if necessary. This is what the court can do. These are the issues that come in front of the court in a guardianship situation.
