Song information:
"Kim" reflects intense anger and hate toward his then-wife Kimberly Ann Scott Mathers (which features Eminem imitating her voice), and ends with him killing and later burying her.
The song begins with Eminem in Kim's home (after murdering her husband and stepson). Eminem is talking calmly to their daughter, who is sleeping, and subsequently starts ranting and abusing Kim, remaining a common element throughout the song.
The song continues with Eminem ranting Kim in the car. In one verse, the line, "There's a four year old little boy laying dead with a slit throat in your living room!" has the words "four" and "boy" muted on the album version, following an aftermath of the Columbine High School Massacre and its reference to child murder; A rare version was leaked onto the Internet, before the occurring massacre and the album’s release entitled, "Bitch So Wrong”, but is slightly different and has poor quality.
The final verse ends with Eminem driving frantically through traffic, and stopping in the woods, where Kim attempts to run away, but to no avail. He then begins slitting Kim's throat, while screaming, "Bleed, bitch! Bleed!" and dragging her dead body through the grass and thrown into the trunk of a car, concluding the song.

On July 2000, Kim sued Eminem for defamation after slashing her wrists and describing her violent death of the song.

Kim is track number 16 on The Marshall Mathers LP and is a prequel to '97 Bonnie and Clyde', indicating the association between the two songs and the direct chronology of events. It was also the first song Eminem recorded for the album and is often highlighted as one of his most memorable songs.

The song was completely removed on the edited version of The Marshall Mathers LP and was replaced by a clean version of the song, "The Kids".
