Presenter: Angela Kuhn, Principal of the Illinois School for the Deaf

Mrs. Kuhn will discuss why her school chose to implement a bilingual program using ASL and Cued American English, and detail how the two forms of communication can be used with deaf or hard of hearing students effectively. Mrs. Kuhn will also emphasize the school's decision to transition from using Visual Phonics to using Cued American English in their educational program.
