Описание к видео The Radical Imagination: Creating the Impossible Commnunity

After Hurricane Katrina, some socialists called attention to the failures of capitalism in the rebuilding of New Orleans and yearned for better ways to deal with or prevent ecological crises.

On this episode of “The Radical Imagination,” host Michael Pelias of Long Island University Brooklyn sits down with John Clark and Quincy Saul to discuss the premise behind both ecosocialism and communitarian anarchism as well as why communities built on these frameworks would be more successful.

John Clark is the author of “The Impossible Community: Realizing Communitarian Anarchism”and many other books as well as the director of the La Terre Institute.

Quincy Saul is the author of Truth and Dare: A Comic Book Curriculum for the End and the Beginning of the World, and the co-editor of Maroon the Implacable: The Collected Writings of Russell Maroon Shoatz. He is a musician and a co-founder of Ecosocialist Horizons.
