Boxing's Greatest Upsets Vol.1.1

Compilation video looking at some of the most controversial boxing upsets the 20th century. Highlights include 'Marvellous' Marvin Hagler's fight against Sugar Ray Leonard, when Hagler refused to take his opponent seriously as Leonard had not fought for over 3 years - proving a costly mistake when, after 12 rounds, Leonard took Hagler's crown and made boxing history. Steve Cruz, another underdog, took Barry McGuigan's middleweight crown away from him in the 100 degree Nevada heat, which proved too much for the Irishman. Muhammad Ali's fight against Ken Norton was also an amazing result. Norton had broken Ali's jaw in the second round, but Ali refused to give up and eventually won after a further 10 rounds in absolute agony. Steve Cruz was an utter under-dog when matched against the British boxing sensation Barry McGuigan, but the horrendous 100 degree heat of Nevada sapped the strength of the champion, as did the superlative punching of the super-conditioned Cruz and McGuigan's title melted away.

Early in the second round of their championship match, Muhammad Ali experienced the potent punching power of Ken Norton when Ali's jaw was broken by a crunching cross.
