The Geologic Oddity in Arizona; Petrified Forest National Park

Описание к видео The Geologic Oddity in Arizona; Petrified Forest National Park

Within Arizona is a dense concentration of rainbow colored fossils which originated from an ancient forest. There, within Petrified Forest National Park are a concentration of many tens of thousands of these ancient Triassic era trees, which range from red to yellow to green and beyond! This video will discuss how this fascinating cluster of fossils came to be, and why they are so uniquely colorful among various petrified/fossil forests around the planet.
