Mike Starr Sober Creating New Song "Black Cloud" PART 1

http://www.goo.gl/ybOct This was a private un-cut/un-edited session of Mike Starr working on a song that he was so proud of last year with his friends and sponsor from Your Machine. Notice how happy he is in-between the song and how he couldn't get enough. He kept saying "wanna play it one more time?" with a big smile on his face that could last for ever.

This was the 1st time he had touched a base in over 6 months and we worked on this song all day. He really felt that it was a hit and wanted to get it out to the world asap!

Sadly he lost his focus before we could get the ball rolling in the right direction. Since then We have recorded the song and it is kick ass!

Mike Starr Really brought this thing together with his very professional Production Skill to cut out the nonsense in a song and get to the point like in so many hits he helped create with Alice In Chains.

His Base Playing will never be replaced or forgotten.
We hope that this video can warm the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Mike Starr really did get sober and I can say with all my heart that 2010 was his best year of his life. He mentioned over and over how much he loved the strength he felt knowing that he had overcome his addiction. He finally felt sober for the 1st time and his true friends and family got to experience the gift of sobriety with him.
