Dr. Gentles discusses NightLight's expansion to the Pearland community. This is NightLight’s third clinic opening since spurring the after-hours pediatric urgent care market with the 2007 opening of the Sugar Land clinic. The new 4,000 square-foot clinic displays Nightlight’s signature kid-friendly atmosphere with bright colored murals and other interactive and visually appealing fixtures to help make children comfortable. The clinic is located in the Shadow Creek Ranch Town Center in the HEB Plus shopping center next to the Pearland Westside Public library. The Pearland clinic introduces new services including on-site x-rays, primary care physician priority call-in, and the ability to reserve your appointment time online and skip the wait, with pediatric-trained physicians and nurse practitioners on duty at all times. NightLight provides treatment exclusively for children ages 0-18 years old, differentiating it from local emergency rooms and urgent care centers. Services include wound care and repair, splinting and initial fracture management, mild dehydration management, fever management and education, breathing treatments, wart removal, and coordination of care with the primary care physician via visit summaries and lab follow up.
