0:45 STEP 1 - REDUCE AMPLITUDE
Reduce the volume by amplifying the track -3 dB to prevent distortion from occurring later. If distortion still occurs, go back and turn the amplification down further.

1:11 STEP 2 - DUPLICATE AND PAN TRACKS
Duplicate the mono track, and set the top one to left channel and the bottom one to right channel.

1:25 STEP 3 - ADD DELAY TO RIGHT CHANNEL
Add 10 milliseconds (0.010 seconds) of silence at the beginning of the right channel to add a slight delay.

2:06 STEP 4 - USE HIGH-PASS FILTER ON LEFT CHANNEL
Use a high-pass filter on the left channel, cutting off everything below 100 hz with a rolloff of 48 dB per octave.

2:26 STEP 5 - USE LOW-PASS FILTER ON RIGHT CHANNEL
Use a low-pass filter on the right channel, cutting off everything above 8,000 hz with a rolloff of 6 dB per octave.

3:08 STEP 6 - ADD VOCAL I REVERB EFFECT TO LEFT CHANNEL
Apply reverb with the "Vocal I" factory preset to the left channel.

3:27 STEP 7 - ADD VOCAL II REVERB EFFECT TO LEFT CHANNEL
Apply reverb with the "Vocal II" factory preset to the right channel.

(Reverb may make your song sound too echoey. If this is the case, undo steps 5 and 6.)

4:20 STEP 8 - COMBINE THE TWO TRACKS INTO A STEREO TRACK
Combine the separate left and right tracks into a single stereo track.
