The Santos Institute thanks Associate Professor Steven L. Fischer, PhD, R.Kin, CCPE, for this video demonstration created at by the Occupational Biomechanics & Ergonomics Lab (https://uwaterloo.ca/occupational-bio...) within the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo.

This video demonstrates the use of a few basic Santos Human-Centric Design capabilities, taking geometry never intended for manufacture - let alone human use - and making it usable by a large male.

While not included in the demonstration, the process shown could also be repeated for a small female. The difference in primary component locations for the anthropometric extremes could then be used to inform and support design decisions on how to accommodate a targeted range of operator sizes.
