I spent a couple of days searching this lovely property near Esk, Queensland, to check out what beautiful things I could find. With a particular emphasis on Willy Wagtail on request! Here’s my first compilation…

Birds - Rainbow Lorikeet, Red Browed Finch, Butcher Bird adult and juvenile, Figbird adult and juvenile, Peaceful Dove, Red-backed Fairy-wren male and female, Little Friarbird, Australasian Pipit, Willie Wagtail adult and little one.

Birds seen but not pictured here - Kookaburra, Galah, Magpie, Australian Crow, Noisy Friarbird, Noisy Miner, Blue Faced Honeyeater, Magpie-Lark, Channel Billed Cuckoo.

Butterflies seen here - Australian Painted Lady and the Monarch Butterfly

Other - Eastern Grey Kangaroo (this is the adult female who was with young one and one in pouch), Jewel Spider, Syrphid fly

Plants shown include Various Eucalypt, Staghorn Fern, Maidenhair Fern, Beard Moss, Fig Trees, Silky Oak, Cadaghi tree, exotic species such as the Portulaca, the Dayflower, Bauhinia, Pepperina.
