In this video, I will show you the brand new way of obtaining the elusive, highly rare Island Expedition mounts. These mounts were once less than 1% drop rates from various islands however you are now able to purchase supply boxes from a new vendor, with each box having a decent chance of containing a mount amongst various other items related to the crate.

The crates are sold by Captain Kitt in the Port of Zandalar for the Horde and Captain Nightrunner in Boralus Harbour for the Alliance. Each epic quality salvage such as the Jorundall Salvage costs 175 dubloons meanwhile the rare quality salvage such as the Verdant Wilds Salvage cost 120 dubloons. There are also two uncommon quality boxes that cost 80 dubloons however neither contain mounts.

This new feature brought with 8.3 is certain to make Island Expeditions more lucrative and rewarding, with mounts finally being plausible drops. In this video to test just how likely the odds are of getting a mount, I open up two Jorundall Salvages.
