Coca-Cola HBC ‪@cchbc‬ , the strategic bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, has installed the semi-automated Pallet Shuttle Racking System in its new warehouse in Knockmore Hill, Lisburn (Northern Ireland).

Opened in 2010, this Coca-Cola HBC plant is constantly evolving to meet the growing demands of the market. Mecalux’s solution combines high-density storage with direct access to pallets and strict inventory control, ensuring beverages are distributed throughout the island of Ireland at the right time and in the right place.

The Coca-Cola HBC warehouse in Northern Ireland features 12 m high racking with channels that hold 16 to 17 pallets deep. In total, it offers storage capacity for 9,000 pallets.

The new finished-goods warehouse equipped with Mecalux’s semi-automated Pallet Shuttle Racking System strengthens Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland’s commitment to Industry 4.0.
